Forth Primatives (“Code Definitions”)

Note:
There is extensive use of “Tooltips” text to support learning which do not seem to render on a Smartphone
Therefore this site is best viewed via a computer’s HD monitor


Given that Forth runs on its own virtual machine; is hosted on a real computer and is written in itself; at the very lowest level it must also run real code

This is achieved by the use of “code definitions” which are Forth words defined in machine code from the instruction set of the host computer
